Welcome to my e-portfolio! Thank you for taking the time to go through this digital resource.

About Me:

My name is Emily Wooldridge, and I will be graduating in May from Hollins University with a Masters of Art of Teaching with endorsement in PreK-6. I received my Bachelors Degree from the University of Virginia, and I currently work as an instructional assistant for Roanoke City Public Schools. I have accepted a position as an Elementary School Teacher with Roanoke City Public Schools for the 2018-2019 school year, and cannot wait to begin my teaching journey! When not in school, I love spending time with my 1 year old Dean, and my husband,  Matt.

Teaching Goals:

As an educator, I have three primary goals:
-To inspire students to explore and harness their unique abilities as part of their learning experience.
-To provide educational opportunities for all students through differentiated learning techniques and engaging projects.
-To create a safe learning environment that allows students to discover their potential.

My philosophy of education gives a more in depth look at my background, interests, and experiences.
